A flat-packed B.S. National 6-frame nucleus hive made from well-dried pine with 20 mm thick walls — stable, durable, and easy to assemble. Designed for raising nucleus colonies, hive splits, or swarm control.

The nuc hive includes:
– 1 brood box — fits DN1, DN2, DN4, DN5 frames (frames not included)
– 1 Varroa mesh floor with inspection tray (assembled; landing board included, to be screwed on)
– 1 crown board
– 1 wooden roof with galvanised metal cover and 4 ventilation holes (assembled)
Angled tops on the inner walls prevent frames from sticking, so runners are not required, though metal runners can be fitted if preferred. Precisely cut parts make self-assembly straightforward. Supplied flat-packed for storage and transport.
