A flat-packed B.S. National beehive set designed for reliable long-term outdoor use and straightforward assembly.
The hive includes:
- 1 brood box — fits DN1, DN2, DN4, DN5 frames (frames not included)
- 2 super boxes — fit SN1, SN2, SN4, SN5, Manley frames (frames not included)
- 1 open mesh floor with plywood inspection drawer (assembled; landing board included, to be screwed on)
- 1 crown board — plywood panel with a solid pine frame (not thermally modified)
- 1 wooden roof with galvanised metal cover and 4 ventilation holes (assembled)
Boxes are precisely cut for easy assembly. Angled tops on the inner walls help prevent frames from sticking; metal runners may also be used if preferred. Supplied flat-packed for convenient storage and transport.
